Those with the lowest income cannot afford a car and those that can no longer drive must spend a disproportionate amount of time on public transit going somewhere that is within a short distance.

According to Stats Canada in 2017 Niagara Region had a ratio of 156 police officers for every 100,000 persons living in the region.

Affordable Housing in the Niagara Region

The usual political response to suggestions on housing is that there is a lack of funds.
